"Donna-Leigh you have to create Children’s Audiobooks with your Children’s book series “The Adventures Of Jessie and Rocky Rockstar” my mentor Vinh Giang declared after I read aloud my first book “Puppy Rescue” in the Stage Community Gym Facebook Group.

This feedback was echoed every time I read the “Puppy Rescue” and “Tiger” manuscripts out to friends and family. So it was decided as part of the publishing of my children’s book series “The Adventures Of Jessie and Rocky Rockstar” that I will be recording the books in audio with my voice.

It was an exciting prospect to have my children’s book series available both in hard copy and audio, and when the email came in from my publisher, Ocean Reeve that the date and time had been confirmed in the Qsound Audio recording studio my dream became a reality.

Injecting the voices for all of the characters when reading both books “Puppy Rescue” and “Tiger” was challenging, but fun. I was surprised how quickly we got through, within forty minutes the recording process was complete.

I believe creating children’s audiobooks as part of your reader experience enhances their connection to you as a children’s book author. I can’t wait until children and adults enjoy listening to “The Adventures Of Jessie and Rocky Rockstar”.
