Speaking in Vegas, just a few days ago at the inaugural HerStory Women’s Global Empowerment Conference was an absolute honor. To share the stage with women from all over the globe, as we inspired, moved and connected with our audience was one of the most humbling experiences, I will be forever grateful for.

Only seven years ago as a single mother, I was dragging my children late at night, from commercial factories, corporate offices and domestic homes to vacuum floors and clean toilets. I never would have dreamed in those days I would be sharing my inspirational story, P.E.A.C.E tools and The Global Gratitude Chain on an international Vegas stage. Making new connections and lifelong friendships.

Today, as I reflect on the magic of a week in Vegas ticking International Speaker, my first Helicopter ride and a visit to the Grand Canyon off my bucket list, a ping notification distracts me for a moment from my computer.

It’s an email notification from Vegas with these words. “We would like to book you and your husband Michael Bennett as keynote speakers for our  International Anti-Slavery Symposium three day conference and Red Carpet Gala Event”

This incredible journey started five years ago when I shared my story with my husband. I found my passionate purpose, which has completely transformed mine and my family’s life forever. From humble beginnings to speaking on stage in Vegas.

If I can do it, you can too. It starts with a dream and believing in your dream. As Dr. Wayne Dyer so eloquently expressed. “Advance confidently in the direction of your own dreams and endeavor to live the life you have imagined, and you will meet with success”.

Vegas 2020 here we come.
